I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

One of the best posts I've read about woman... Please read it completely... it's worth it...

*WOMAN*

When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day.......

An angel came by and asked." Why spend so much time on her?"

The lord answered. "Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?"

●She must function on all kinds of situations.
●She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time.
●Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart.
●She must do all this with only two hands.
●She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day.

THE ANGEL was impressed" Just two hands.....impossible!

And this is the standard model?"

The Angel came closer and touched the woman.
"But you have made her so soft, Lord".
"She is soft", said the Lord,
"But I have made her strong. You can't imagine what she can endure and overcome"

"Can she think?" The Angel asked...
The Lord answered. "Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate".

The Angel touched her cheeks....
"Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her".
"She is not leaking...it is a tear". The Lord corrected the Angel…

"What's it for?" Asked the Angel..... .
The Lord said. "Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride."...

This made a big impression on the Angel,
"Lord, you are a genius. You thought of everything.
A woman is indeed marvellous"

Lord said ."Indeed she is.
■She has strength that amazes a man.
■She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
■She holds happiness, love and opinions.
■She smiles when she feels like screaming.
■She sings when she feels like crying, cries when happy and laughs when afraid.
■She fights for what she believes in.
■Her love is unconditional.
■Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies but she finds strength to get on with life"

The Angel asked: So she is a perfect being?
The lord replied: No. She has just one drawback.
"She often forgets what she is worth".

*Being a woman is priceless*

*I respect women*

Happy International Women's Day to all my friends !

"The woman who invented Mother's Day came to hate it

By Kendall Trammell, CNN

Updated 5:59 AM ET, Sun May 13, 2018

If Anna Jarvis hated Mother's Day back then, she would despise it now.

(CNN)Mother's Day means big business for retailers. This year is no different -- shoppers will spend an average of $180 per mom.

If you hate all of the commercialization behind the day that celebrates moms, imagine how Anna Jarvis would feel now.
The holiday's founder worked so hard to get the world to give moms everywhere a shoutout. But before her death, even she had to admit she had some regrets about starting Mother's Day.

If she were alive now, she'd probably be living her worst nightmare.

She just wanted to honor her mom

Long before her death, Jarvis' mom Ann Reeves Jarvis hoped someone would dedicate a day to honor mothers. When she died on May 9, 1905, Jarvis set out to do just that. She began campaigning not only for her mom but for moms everywhere.
It started off with her hometown of Grafton, West Virginia, which takes credit for hosting the first official Mother's Day celebration three years later at Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church. Since then, the church has been dubbed the "International Mother's Day Shrine."
In 1914, President Woodrow Wilson signed a bill recognizing Jarvis' Mother's Day as a national holiday.

There's a reason 'mother' is singular

Jarvis was very intentional about the name of her holiday. It's Mother's Day — as in one mom. The way Jarvis put it, Mother's Day is a day to honor "the best mother who ever lived, yours."

But Mother's Day became way more popular than she expected. People today honor any mom-like figure in their lives.
So Jarvis disowned her own holiday

Jarvis couldn't stand the idea of people spending so much money on extravagant flower arrangements, sappy greeting cards and overly priced chocolates.
First, she went after florists, protesting their marketing of those beautiful and ornate carnations. Then, her protests escalated to arrests for public disturbances.
Jarvis didn't stop there. She went after first lady Eleanor Roosevelt for using Mother's Day as a way to promote the health and welfare of women and children. While it was true that Jarvis' mother was a community health advocate, Jarvis still didn't like the association.

Jarvis died in a sanitarium in 1948. The holiday she created lives on.

Today, more people purchase flowers and plants for Mother's Day than for any other holiday except Christmas/Hanukkah. This year alone, Americans will spend $23.1 billion on the holiday. And most of that money will be spent on jewelry: $4.6 billion""

==============================================

What else?

Spoiler:

At least five people were killed and several others were “gravely injured” in a shooting Thursday afternoon at the Capital Gazette in Anne Arundel County, authorities said.
A shooter is in custody, police said. Police would not name the suspect or say what type of weapon he used.
Anne Arundel County Police initially confirmed about 3:15 p.m. that they were responding to an “active shooter” at 888 Bestgate Road, where the newspaper’s offices are located. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives also responded to the scene.
The Capital Gazette is owned by The Baltimore Sun.
Police said a “long gun” was used in the incident. They said officers did not exchange gunfire with the suspect, who was now being interrogated. They said officers had recovered what appeared to be an “explosive device,” and had “tactically secured” the building. About 170 people were inside at the time of the shooting, police said.
Phil Davis, a Capital Gazette crime reporter who was in the building at the time of the shooting, said multiple people were shot, as others — himself included — hid under their desks. He said there was a lone male gunman.
“Gunman shot through the glass door to the office and opened fire on multiple employees. Can’t say much more and don’t want to declare anyone dead, but it’s bad,” Davis wrote on Twitter as he waited to be interviewed by police.
“There is nothing more terrifying than hearing multiple people get shot while you’re under your desk and then hear the gunman reload.”
In a subsequent interview, Davis said it “was like a war zone” inside the newspaper’s offices — a situation that would be “hard to describe for a while.”
A shooting has occurred at the Capital Gazette in Anne Arundel County, a paper that is owned by The Baltimore Sun, according to reports from Gazette staff.
“I’m a police reporter. I write about this stuff — not necessarily to this extent, but shootings and death — all the time,” he said. “But as much as I’m going to try to articulate how traumatizing it is to be hiding under your desk, you don’t know until you’re there and you feel helpless.”
Davis said he and others were still hiding under their desks when the shooter stopped firing.
“I don’t know why. I don’t know why he stopped,” he said.
Police arrived and surrounded the shooter, Davis said. He declined to elaborate.
Authorities said police responded to the scene within a minute. "If they were not there as quickly as they were it could have been a lot worse," Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley said. "

La suite ici sous le clapet tragique:

Officials at Maryland Shock Trauma Center confirmed the hospital was treating at least one victim. County Executive Steve Schuh said others were being treated at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Loren Farquhar, a medical center spokeswoman, said the hospital received two patients, both with minor injuries not from gunfire. One was discharged and another is expected to be discharged soon, she said.
Agents with the ATF were on the scene in Annapolis to provide support to local law enforcement, said Amanda Hils, a spokeswoman for the federal agency. ATF can help with tracing weapons, conducting interviews and other assistance.
President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter that he had been briefed on the shooting. “My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. Thank you to all of the First Responders who are currently on the scene,” Trump wrote.
Josh McKerrow, a photographer for 14 years at The Capital, had covered Induction Day at the Naval Academy at sunrise Thursday. He was driving home to celebrate his daughter’s birthday when Capital editor Rick Hutzell called him from out of town.
“He said he’d heard there had been a shooting,” McKerrow said, “and he couldn't get in touch with anyone in the newsroom.”
Then McKerrow heard sirens.
"Literally, that same moment, I saw dozens of emergency vehicles,” he said. “My heart sank and I knew.”
Police in SWAT gear and with assault rifles had cordoned off the area round the newsroom and shutdown Bestgate Road. Outside the police tape, McKerrow and reporter Chase Cook called and texted their friends and colleagues, trying to get answers.
Jimmy DeButts, an editor at the Capital Gazette, wrote on Twitter that he was “devastated and heartbroken.” He said he could not speak about the shooting, but praised the work of his newspaper.
“There are no 40 hour weeks, no big paydays — just a passion for telling stories from our community,” DeButts wrote. “We keep doing more with less. We find ways to cover high school sports, breaking news, tax hikes, school budgets & local entertainment. We are there in times of tragedy. We do our best to share the stories of people, those who make our community better. Please understand, we do all this to serve our community.”
He added, “We try to expose corruption. We fight to get access to public records & bring to light the inner workings of government despite major hurdles put in our way. The reporters & editors put their all into finding the truth. That is our mission. Will always be.”
Gov. Larry Hogan, on Twitter, wrote, “Absolutely devastated to learn of this tragedy in Annapolis.”
He said he was in contact with Schuh, and that Maryland State Police were on the scene assisting county police.
“Please, heed all warnings and stay away from the area. Praying for those at the scene and for our community,” he wrote.
House Speaker Michael E. Busch has represented Annapolis since 1987 and said The Capital is “the voice of the community.”
Even with a shrinking staff, Busch said, “they knew the pulse of the community and had a lot of influence on what took place.
“This is a shocker,” Busch said. “Over the years, a lot of these people become friends. They do their job, you do your job, and you respect them for it. A lot of good writers have come out of there.”
“This is really something that is totally, totally shocking, that we don’t know how to understand.”
U.S. Rep. John Sarbanes said at the scene that he expects the incident will shake Annapolis “to its core.”
“I know how close the ties are that bind people down here,” he said.
Police were also at The Baltimore Sun newsroom in Baltimore. Police said there was no threat on the Sun, and that their presence was a precaution.
The Gazette is not the only business in the building where the shooting occurred. There are 30 tenants in the building, including five others on the first floor with The Capital. They include accountants, lawyers, financial and medical offices. The newspaper has been in the building since 2015, according to CoStar, a real estate information company. They have 5,000 square feet of offices.
Jay Riley, a spokesman with St. John Properties, which owns the building, said management personnel were at the property “working to facilitate anything that law enforcement might need.”
Aaron Smith and Randall Fisher of the Fisher Law Office were on the fourth floor in the same building as the Gazette at the time of the shooting. They didn't hear or see anything and didn't know anything was going on until Smith received a text from a colleague saying there was an apparent shooting, he said.
They flipped a desk over in front of the door to the office and stayed there until SWAT officers arrived. They then walked out of the building with their hands on their heads, like everyone else in the building, Fisher said.
Bethany Clasing, who works in second floor of the building, said she heard a single gunshot and then heard the police yell, “Get down! Get down! Don't move!”
Clasing said she saw a sheriff’s deputy standing outside of their door, next to a man on the ground who was being patted down. The deputy told Clasing and other employees to stay inside, but "literally a second later, they told us to put our hands up and sprint” away from the building, she said. “That was the scariest part.”
Rayne Foster, of Frost and Associates LLC, said a plainclothes officer came to her fourth-floor office suite and told the receptionist to lock the doors because of an active shooter. Foster ran over to the glass door, closed it and locked it, she said.
Foster gathered about 16 employees and told them there was an active shooter. Some employees began taking off high heels preparing to flee the building, she said.
“You see it on the news,” Foster said of people walking out of buildings after mass shootings, “and you think, ‘These poor people.’ You wonder how they feel. Now I know.”
Foster said one employee pulled two handguns out of his desk drawer and held them for self defense in case the shooter came. Other employees hid. At one point, they refused to open a back door for someone claiming to be police. “How do we know you're the police?” one employee said through the door.
After the police entered from a different direction, they began filing outside. Foster said she and her employees kept trying to hold hands to comfort each other, but were told by police to keep their hands in the air.
Baltimore Sun reporters Scott Dance, Doug Donovan, Tim Prudente, Justin Fenton, Erin Cox, Nicholas Bogel-Burroughs, Jessica Anderson and Meredith Cohn contributed to this article.

The name that has been selected for  ETST’s leading-edge STI self-sampling kit for women is Hygee, which is the French name for the Goddess of Health and the word for “hygiene” in Greek mythology. While the French name is spelled with an acute accent on the first  “e” (é), the accent will not be used in the brand name.  The pronunciation of the name will be high-GEE in all markets worldwide. The marketing team, with the help of Absolu Communications, chose the name to reflect the product’s dedication to women’s health.

“We are very pleased with the work that Absolu has done on the name and on Hygee’s visual identity, including the logo design and the overall graphic signature of the product,” said Nickolas S. Tabraue, an president, director and chairman of ETST. “We anticipate that the registration of the trademark will be officially approved within 10 months, with a 90 percent chance of approval.”

In preparation for Hygee’s market introduction, a pre-launch clinical study is currently being conducted with Clinique Santé Amitié in Québec, Canada. The results will be announced in the near future.
The Company plans to share further updates on  its medical device, Hygee; on research and development; and on the Form 10 approval process as each progresses.

POLL-Majority of Americans think Trump mishandling Russia -Reuters/Ipsos poll

© REUTERS/Yuri Gripas President Donald Trump waves as he walks with First Lady Melania Trump on the South Lawn of the White House upon their return to Washington, U.S. on July 16, 2018 from Helsinki, Finland. (Mon Dilleux ! Quelle belle femme !)

More than half of Americans disapprove of the way U.S. President Donald Trump is handling relations with Russia, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted after his controversial summit and joint news conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

However, Trump's performance at the Helsinki summit, where Trump refused to blame the Russian leader for meddling in the 2016 U.S. election and cast doubt on the findings of U.S. intelligence agencies, did not seem to have an impact on his overall approval rating.

Forty-two percent of registered voters said they approved of Trump’s performance in office in the latest opinion poll, compared with a daily average of between 40 and 44 percent so far in July.

The poll found that 55 percent of registered voters disapproved while 37 percent approved of his handling of relations with Russia.
Among Republicans, 71 percent approved of his handling of Russia compared to 14 percent of Democrats.

Trump still enjoys broad support among Republican voters despite criticism from party leaders about his words and actions while standing alongside the Russian leader answering questions from reporters, the poll results showed.

Trump surprised even his supporters when he praised the Russian leader during the news conference for his "strong and powerful" denial of meddling.
On Tuesday, Trump attempted to calm the political storm following his remarks, saying he misspoke at the news conference and had full confidence in U.S. agencies. But he appeared to veer from his script to add: "It could be other people also - there's a lot of people out there," he said.
A majority of registered voters, 59 percent, agree with the conclusions of U.S. intelligence agencies that Russia attempted to influence the U.S. election, the Reuters/Ipsos poll found. But only 32 percent of Republicans think that is true compared to 84 percent of Democrats.
The Reuters/Ipsos poll also revealed a distinct split among Republican and Democratic voters over whether Russia should be considered an adversary of the United States.

Overall, 38 percent of registered voters agreed that Russia is an enemy of the United States. About the same percent considered Russia "a competitor" while 8 percent said it was "a friend."

However, half the Democrats said it was an enemy while only about one in three Republicans considered it so.
Forty percent of Democrats described Russia as an imminent threat while only 14 percent of Republicans agreed.

Overall, 27 percent of registered voters considered Russia an imminent threat. Only North Korea got a higher response on that question, 31 percent.
The poll also asked Americans whether they think authorities will find evidence of an illegal relationship between the Trump administration and Russia. A slim majority, 51 percent, said it was likely, while 77 percent of Democrats and 19 percent of Republicans did.

The same general split was true when asked if Trump or someone from his campaign worked with Russia to influence the 2016 election. Overall, 52 percent of registered voters agreed. But 81 percent of Democrats said that was true versus 19 percent of Republicans.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll gathered responses from 1,011 registered voters throughout the United States, including 453 Republicans and 399 Democrats. The poll has a credibility interval, a measure of precision, of 4 percentage points.
