Duchess Meghan Wants To Move To ‘Progressive’ California But She Doesn’t Want Her Company To Pay California Taxes
By Emily Zanotti, DailyWire.com
The Duchess of Sussex arriving for her visit to Canada House, central London, to meet with Canada's High Commissioner to the UK, Janice Charette, as well as staff, to thank them for the warm hospitality and support they received during their recent stay in Canada.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, are reportedly looking to move to the United States, at least eventually, after President Donald Trump leaves office. But while they may be eyeing the leftist paradise of Los Angeles, California, the pair’s commitment to social justice apparently ends at their pocketbook.
Just before the pair announced that they planned to separate from the British royal family and earn their own keep — at least partly — Duchess Meghan revived her California-based lifestyle company, Frim Fram Inc., and moved it out of the state of California, re-registering it in Delaware, where the tax code is far more business-friendly, per the Telegraph.
Frim Fram, Inc. applied to be a Delaware corporation on New Year’s Eve, sliding in just under the wire so that the newly revived company could avoid paying taxes to the state of California for any income the business might earn in 2020, now that the royal pair are in talks to separate from their current source of income, Prince Charles.
“Frim Fram Inc. — which ran Meghan’s defunct website ‘The Tig’ — registered as a new corporation in Delaware on Dec. 30, according to business records. The former actress founded ‘The Tig’ in 2014, but shut it down in 2017, just before marrying Prince Harry,” added Delaware Online. “The company was previously incorporated in California, but started the process to incorporate in Delaware this fall, according to documents. Meghan’s business manager, Andrew Meyer, was listed as the secretary on the certificate of merger.”
Many, many, corporations register in Delaware where “companies are not required to reveal the names of their owners,” Delaware Online says, and where the climate is much better for businesses looking to pull down serious profits. Other states have similar business tax structures, of course, but Delaware’s policies, which allow a “lawyer or an agent to sign as the authorized person,” thus “allowing owners’ identities to remain secret” was probably a big bonus for the royal couple.
Harry and Meghan announced last Friday that they plan to “step back” from royal duties and “work to become financially independent.” After some back-and-forth with Queen Elizabeth, Harry’s father, Prince Charles, and his brother, Prince William, the royal family now says they’re creating a road map for the pair to wean off of public funds (to a certain extent), and live a decidedly non-royal life, jetting back and forth between the United Kingdom and Canada.
The pair also, it seems, wants to pursue a more overt political agenda, something members of the royal family are prohibited from doing. Duchess Meghan, at least, has broken that protocol several times, even after announcing her engagement to Prince Harry. The pair ran into trouble over the summer after Prince Harry suggested people should have two children or fewer to avoid over-taxing the Earth’s resources just before he, his wife, and his young son boarded a series of carbon-spewing private flights to spend quality time in exclusive locations with celebrity hosts.
Eventually the pair plan to move to the United States — at least according to reports that surfaced over the weekend, indicating that Harry and Meghan want to end up in Los Angeles, California, eventually. The pair, who are said to be talking to George and Amal Clooney and Oprah Winfrey about their plans, won’t make their home in the United States, though, until after Trump leaves office. Duchess Meghan has been an open critic of Trump.

Minorities At Pro-Second Amendment Rally Rip Media Over ‘White Supremacist’ Narrative
By Amanda Prestigiacomo
On Monday, tens of thousands of Second Amendment supporters of all stripes attended a rally outside the Virginia state capitol to protest controversial gun control measures pushed through by Democrats and supported by scandal-ridden Governor Ralph Northam (D-VA).
Despite the media pushing the narrative that the rally was going to be attended by dangerous right-wing extremists and violent white supremacists, the rally was diverse and peaceful.
Minorities participating in the event smacked the media for pushing the false narratives.

Virginia gun rally pits law enforcers against lawmakers Posted: 2:58 PM, Jan 20, 2020 Updated: 4:58 PM, Jan 20, 2020 By: Justin Boggs
Thousands of pro-gun rights activists converged around the Virginia Capitol on Monday to voice opposition to gun control legislation proposed by the Democratic-held legislature.
Among the vocal critics of the bills were members of law enforcement, who used their official office to advocate against some of the proposals
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office posted on its Facebook page its support for the protest. The sheriff’s office also posted photos of deputies in uniform holding a sign saying, “we support the second amendment.”
“Great turnout for 2A rally in Richmond today! Standing room only!!” the post read.
Culpeper County Sheriff Scott Jenkins also attended the rally to show his support. He said he would deputize gun owners if Virginia lawmakers move forward with gun legislation. It is unclear if said deputies would have arrest power.
“My intent was to swear in thousands of auxiliary deputy sheriffs and make it legal for them to possess the weapons that they're trying to ban and restrict,” Jenkins said.
Dozens of sheriffs in Virginia have stated that their departments would not enforce gun laws they feel are unconstitutional. Jenkins suggested, but would not directly answer, whether his department would enforce state laws involving gun control if Democrats move forward with legislation.
“I'll have to make a determination if these laws they pass or a violation of that,” Jenkins said.
Although thousands gathered in Richmond to protest gun legislation, Gov. Ralph Northam said there was a reason why Democrats were elected in Virginia. In his State of the Commonwealth address earlier this week, Northam referenced the legislature’s response to a mass shooting at a Virginia Beach municipal complex last year as a reason why Democrats gained a majority in the Virginia House for the first time in nearly three decades.
“Virginians watched. They saw what happened, and they were appalled. So they changed the legislature. And here we are,” Northam said.
While a bill to ban assault weapons was dropped earlier last week, other bills are still being considered. One is limiting the purchases of firearms to one a month.
Earlier this month, Northam signed legislation to prohibit firearms inside of the Capitol building and an adjacent legislative office building.
Another one of the more controversial bills is a so called “red flag” law, which would allow for law enforcement to take away firearms from gun owners who are considered a danger to themselves or others.
Northam defended this legislation as “constitutional.”
“If you have demonstrated extreme risk of violence, or there’s a protective order against you, you shouldn’t have a firearm. This means universal background checks. If there’s nothing in your record, you have nothing to worry about,” the governor said.
Jenkins isn’t convinced.
“Right now, it's hard to say that we're going to disarm our citizens who often have a 10- or 15-minute response time in rural areas for an officer to arrive and say we're going to disarm the homeowner and restrict their rights to defend themselves,” the sheriff said.

Brexit Is Here, and It’s a Texas-Size Defeat for the E.U.
The loss of such a rich, sizable, powerful member state will weaken the European Union’s momentum and its diplomatic weight.
A pro-Brexit rally in London last September. Britain will officially withdrawal from the European Union on Friday.Credit...Andrew Testa for The New York Times
By Steven Erlanger
The European Parliament voted in Brussels on Wednesday to ratify the withdrawal agreement that governs Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union, which will formally happen on Friday at midnight Brussels time. The occasion was marked by speechifying and the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.” Some European legislators put up a sign reading, hopefully: “It’s not goodbye, it’s au revoir” — an “until we meet again.”The vote — something of a relieved whimper rather than a bang, as its result was expected — is one of the last steps in bringing to an end three and a half years of confusion, political division and missed deadlines. The vote passed by 621 to 49, with 13 abstentions. But for the European Union, the loss of Britain is a significant defeat. It represents a loss of size, reach, momentum and permanence, comparable to Texas deciding to break away from the United States.

Iowa caucus vote totals delayed amid 'inconsistencies'; campaigns lash out at 'crazy' state party
By Gregg Re, Allie Raffa | Fox News
The Iowa Democratic Party (IDP) still has not reported official vote totals in the critical Iowa caucuses as of early Tuesday morning, in a largely unexplained and unprecedented delay that has raised questions about the legitimacy of the contest -- and Democratic campaign officials are livid, Fox News has learned.
The Trump campaign, meanwhile, openly suggested that the delay meant that the caucuses were being "rigged," and that the embarrassing night proved that the Democratic Party can't be trusted to run Americans' health care and implement sweeping new government programs. Even if a winner were ultimately announced, the chaos and confusion has seemingly erased any hope for the major momentum boost that would normally result.
"We found inconsistencies in the reporting of three sets of results," the IDP said in a statement at 11:30 p.m. ET. "In addition to the tech systems being used to tabulate results, we are also using photos of results and a paper trail to validate that all results match and ensure that we have confidence and accuracy in the numbers we report. This is simply a reporting issue. The app did not go down and this is not a hack or an intrusion. The underlying data and paper trail is sound and will simply take time to further report the results."

VIDEO A ‘Scared to Death’ James Carville Sounds Alarms for Democratic Field: ‘Do We Want to Be an Ideological Cult?’
James Carville expressed serious concern for Democrats on MSNBC tonight saying he’s alarmed by recent polling and the enthusiasm gap.
“Why is Tom Perez still the chair of the Democratic National Committee? I have no idea,” he said. “This party needs to wake up and make sure that we talk about things are relevant to people. We need to go back to 2018 where we had good, diverse, strong candidates that had real connections and talked about real things. We don’t need to become the British Labour Party. That’s a bad thing. It’s not going well over there.”
He said Democrats need to focus because the “moral imperative” right now is to beat President Donald Trump and the party needs to focus on issues that matter to people.

Following President Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday, left-wing CNN contributor Van Jones issued a “wake up” call to his fellow liberals and Democrats about Trump’s “real life” actions that have positively impacted African Americans across the country.
“WAKE UP, folks,” Jones tweeted along with a clip of his appearance on CNN Tuesday night. “The [Iowa caucus] was a debacle, followed by a strong [State of the Union] speech laying out Trump’s strategy to win – which includes going for Black voters.”
